Classroom - Behind the wheel (BTW)

SC STATE LAW REQUIRES 15 AND 16 YEAR OLD STUDENTS TO COMPLETE 8 HOURS CLASSROOM AND 6 HOURS BEHIND THE WHEEL INSTRUCTION AND PASS THE KNOWLEDGE PERMIT TEST.  AFTER HAVING THE PERMIT FOR 180 DAYS AND HAVING COMPLETED  THE REQUIRED 8 HOUR CLASSROOM AND 6 HOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTION; THEY CAN TEST FOR THE SC CONDITIONAL PROVISIONAL LICENSE THAT THEY MUST DRIVE ON FOR ONE YEAR! (OFTEN REFERRED TO AS A DAY LICENSE)
*NOTE:  Students involved in church or school activities that require them to travel after the restricted driving times may request a waiver at age 16.
The Eight Hours of classroom instruction is usually done in two four hour sessions from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM days school is out or school system holidays.  Class size is limited to six students!
The SIX HOURS BTW (usually 3 sessions of 2 hrs. behind the wheel) instruction is individual instruction, scheduled on the students free time after school or on weekends or holidays!  I will pick the student up either at school or at home or a place the parent designates.
